What's Happening the Week of February 1st............

With the new season now open it seems there are two days of golf every weekend for the foreseeable future!!

This Saturday, 6 February, we play the Randolph Trophy an Open event sponsored by PGF. This is always an enjoyable tournament especially as it is a stroke round (3 grades) so early in the year (not) Normally this event is in November/December but the renovation programme has prompted a change of date. There are shotgun starts at 8.00am and 12.30pm - so get your names down as soon as possible.

Sunday sees the first International Match for the 2010 year in the matchplay format with all games being played out to the 18th. If you wish to play speak to David Robinson (Internationals) or Bryan Graham/ Paddy Helmore (Kiwis) as soon as possible. This is a unique event in the Club calendar and well worthwhile making time to participate, a small entry fee applies which includes the meal after.

Finally our over 50's team plays the final round at McLean's Island on Sunday. The team is currently leading the gross grade so we wish them well in there endeavours.
