Recently Club members visited the Court theatre for the show "Anything Goes", in the pre-show props were several New York Times headlines from the 1920's one of which read as follows:
"Marcus ousted by Dodge in reaction to Vice Inquiry"
We wonder if this has current application to the golf club?
The Mixed event on Sunday proved to be an expensive day out for Barry O'Neill who is
reported to have incurred 3 separate gin shots in the same round - there was some discussion if in fact the number should be 4 however Barry's reply of "Just be glad I am accepting three without pushing your luck further." probably says it all.
