This year Garry Forward has been responsible for organising the Over 50's inter club team and in a feat of remarkable administrative ability he seems to have put together a programme that did not entail him having to put in a appearance as a Team member on the fairways.
The final round was held at McLean's Island on Sunday with the Club being represented by Bruce Taylor (74), Rod Hayes (75), Tony Park (81) & Dennis Maguire (n/c). Our maths shows us as being the winners of the gross section but we are currently confirming calculations with Canterbury Golf who seem to have arrived at a different solution.
In any event many thanks to Garry and all those who participated in the team over the course of the season very well done. Further information will follow in due course.
