Holes-In-One................

In light of the spate of holes-in-one during the '09 year (8 to date) the Board has reviewed the Club's position and resolved to increase the the "insurance payout" to members from $100= to $200= for the year commencing 2010 to more accurately reflect the cost to members of the "traditional shout" (Please note the Club self insures as a component of your membership subscription).

While there are no rules set in concrete as to the extend and cost of the shout there has been a recognition of the increasing out of pocket expense to members who are fortunate enough to record an ace. In increasing the amount payable it was certainly anticipated by the Board that at least this amount would be "put on the bar" and while it may not cover the total cost it would lessen the deficit.
