Saturday saw two holes in during the course of play.
Rod O'Brien hit the perfect shot on 11 where the pin was front right. With pitching wedge in hand Rod landed behind and to the right of the hole, dragging it back down the slope and into the cup.
Playing with the Saturday Ladies Kate Shier holed out on 7 using a seven wood. The shot which was always on line, pitched just short of the green and rolled up into hole. Kate by her own admission said given the length of the hole and her eyesight she did not realise it was in until she walked up to the green looking for her ball! In the same grouping Hiliary Scandrett put her tee shot into the creek but after dropping out she holed her chip for a par so a couple of pretty good shots from the ladies!!
