I think everyone accepts we are in difficult economic times and while the Club is not immune from the recession it has been pro-active in managing and limiting its expenses during the current financial year. However as every advisor will tell you that is only half the equation; to grow the business you need to increase the income flow.
While there are initiatives afoot to market the Club and its facilities to expand the membership and maximise differing income streams the most effective marketing tool at our disposal is you the existing member. To that end I encourage you where possible to use your best endeavours to promote the Club and its facilities to potential new members, sponsors & corporate users so that as a whole we are all able to benefit and move forward.
The maintenance and expansion of our membership base will be a crucial issue to our stated aim of being New Zealand's leading golf club.
