So far 2009 has seen a number of our members away from the club on tour with events such as the NZ Open and the Veterans. Clearly that trend seems fit to continue over the next wee while.
This week we have a contingent heading up to the Left Handers National Tournament in Rotorua so good luck to Paddy Helmore, Rex Price and Ahmad Hosseini together with any other Club members who are heading north!
Andrew Sloane will again be leading a team to the Masters in Augusta and we wish him and the rest of the party (enviously) all the best for their trip. No sooner is that under way than we have Barry & Robyn Fletcher taking approximately 8 couples to the Heritage in Melbourne just after Easter. I am sure that tour will be a success especially given the amount of golf that some of the participants have scheduled to play.
