Presidents Report......

Good afternoon Gents,

Result from our home game on Sunday - a bit more of the same - unfortunately.

We went down at home to Templeton 5.5 to 2.5.
Meritorious performances -
David Young scoring an 83 & winning 6/4
Brian (I'm back) Tyro to score 39 on the back 9, to recover & win 4/3 - (we wont mention the front 9 or the previous 54 holes)- but good to see a re-emergence of form .
Chris Brocket who ended all square - bit unlucky on the 18th to an opponent who chipped it stone dead on 18.
And to David Isaac - ( big thanks to a big hearted man) - who turned up and played in very difficult circumstances
Thanks also to Marcus Annan ( who stood in at the last minute & couldnt quite find the previous days form) - David Youn. Jin Ho Neoh & Geoff Brodie who all had tight matches against a team who are now equal 2nd.

I am afraid this has not been one of our better seasons - currently we support the rest of the table - as we have done most of the year - We have 2 games left to try and make an impression. We have 4 points - so can get to 8 - the two teams ahead of us Waitikiri & Avondale have both have 1 tough game left - so there's an opportunity for us.

I will send out team details within the next 2 days - Paul Needs will be looking after the team during my forthcoming absence ( from 27 March to 7 April).

Our last 2 games are on :
29 March - at Shirley 9am tee off - we play McLeans Island
5 April at Clearwater - noon tee off (the Final Round where all teams play at the one location) & we play Everglades.
