Over the next few days our focus is clearly on the Wood Trowel - qualifying, dinner and final. Saturday sees a morning and afternoon shotgun start. There already looks to be a good field so if you have not already enrolled get your name down as soon as possible to help with forward planning.
The top 33 players qualify for the final round on Sunday. Any ties will be decided by count back so the field is limited. For the avoidance of doubt it is imperative that you mark your card N/A if you can not play on Sunday or if you do not want to be part of the field. The draw will be posted on the Website on Saturday evening and will be available in the Club house once the cards have been processed.
The dinner is priced at $40.00 and will involve an entree, main and cheese board together with tea and coffee. If you have any special dietary requirements that involve pumpkin, chicken, or lamb please advise Amanda as soon as possible so that alternatives will be available on the night. Ticket sales for the evening entertainment will be available from the office from later in the week. The tickets are limited so it may pay to be in early. As usual Bryan Andrews will be in charge of the entertainment assisted by Ian Wagstaff on the scoreboard with Neil Ockwell helping with the ticket paperwork. The Club acknowledges the support of these members in completing a successful event.
The Trowel evening has been a wonderful event over the past few years so let's make it work again this time.
In the interim good golfing and the best of luck........
