What's Happening Week of 20 April.........

We are currently in a relatively busy period of the golfing calendar with a number of upcoming events. The rescheduled Wood Trowel takes place next weekend on the 2 & 3 May with the qualifying round on Saturday followed by the dinner and the "finals" round on the Sunday. As well a number of separate competitions are approaching their use by date so please check the board to ensure all matches are played. Remember extensions will not be granted except in absolutely exceptional circumstances.

This Saturday (ANZAC Day) sees the playing of the Australian Cup which is a Stroke competition in three grades so every shot will count. This will be a good test of your ability to move the field at an acceptable speed. Please note there will be morning and afternoon starters, a start sheet and a course marshall - slow players beware.

On Sunday the Metro team makes a visit to Windsor as we try to get our season back on track. Windsor is a challenging course but I am sure the team is up to the task! At home we have a mixed match for the Wellington Salver which is a four-ball best ball stableford - a multi tee start at 12.30. If you have not already entered do so as soon as possible; as usual a dinner will follow.

In the interim good golfing!!!
