It was with great sadness that we noted that one of our Life Members recently passed away. Matthew Robinson was a committed Christchurch Golf Club member throughout his life, in his early boyhood years as a caddy and later as Club Captain, then Vice President and finally President. I think it fair to say he covered and participated fully in all aspects of the Christchurch Golf Club both in playing and administration.
It was perhaps a true reflection of his life and the esteem in which he was held that so many members attended his funeral service. To Lee and the rest of the wider Robinson family we extend our condolences on your loss.
