This week sees me travel to Timaru on a switched trip with 6 mediations scheduled over 4 days getting back to town hopefully just after lunch on Friday and in time for a drink in the evening! As always when travelling away I will be on the search for good coffee and the possibility of a previously unplayed golf course updates may be posted next week.
On the golfing front Saturday sees the Greensome Two Stroke competition for the W P Anderson Cup and the best 8 teams qualify for the Campbell Cup on matchplay. The two stroke format gives you slightly more control than straight foursomes but you are still dependant on your partner so be prepared for another fraught round. Again this is a quick game so time should not be a constraint and it is ideally suited to the Winter period.
Tickets for the Hot August Night are selling well so see Amanda & Andrew and book in for the 15 August it will be a wine tasting par excellence lead by Graham Watson and Bruce Todd with Vino Fino. On the next day, Sunday 16, is the Mixed Flag Match so put that in your diary as well.
In the interim have a good week and I will see you at Shirley if not before.
