This morning by e-mail I received an update from Steve Ellis and his proposed plans for the near future. Steve has determined he needs to return to NZ (and by implication Shirley) for some respite prior to returning to Italy for what now seems to be the inevitable outcome.
To that end Steve will be in Christchurch in the week of the 10th August and looking to play on both the Wednesday and Saturday as well attending the Wine Tasting on the 15th. As you will be aware Sue returned a little earlier and for those of you worried about Steve's ability to survive I attach the comments concerning his latest meal!
"Dinner this Evening? Well, the Italians really do know how to make a Sausage. I bought a couple of beauties at the Friday Market. They were slow baked,( 90 mins ), with rosemary, a potato, zucchini basted with mustard and a tomato. I thought it tasted pretty good. Well I had too, didn't I!"
