On Sunday we have the Mothers & Daughters/Fathers & Sons competition. Please enter at the pro shop tee times start from approximately 11.30. Light refreshments in terms of Fish & Chips will be available at the completion of the round from the Club House. The prize giving will be completed as soon as all the players are in and the results have been tabulated. The match competition is four-ball best ball stableford i.e. the best stableford score for the pair on each hole. Normally there are some pretty good scores so get out there and compete.
Metro plays the penultimate round on Sunday with us drawn against Coringa at home (at the early hour of 9.00am), hopefully we will be able to secure another win and move into mid table contention. On Wednesday evening Canterbury Golf has its prize giving and the are a number of members for the Men's and Women's Committee attending on behalf of the Club, if anything of interest occurs a full report will follow next week.
The Men's Committee are aware that there have been some scheduling clashes in the programme this year. We have resolved to review next years programme in August prior to it going to the printers to see if we can avoid further occurrences however unfortunately inter club competitions sometimes alter dates and times dependant on entries which makes the task more difficult. We will however do our best.
