Our Junior golf teams had a mixture of results over the weekend. Our handicap team of Henry Pearson, Alex Sloane, Simon Watson and James Harris completed a clean sweep against Coringa Green. With a round to go they head their section of the competition and are already safely through to the semi finals.
Things are a bit tighter for our gross team. They finished with a half against Clearwater on Sunday; congratulations to Mitchell Vincent and Andrew Topp who were successful in their matches. The team is tied for third but unfortunately a clash of dates with Mother's Day and our Fathers and Sons competition has meant we have had to default the last round so it is unlikely the team will progress further notwithstanding some good golf having been played.
The finals are on the weekend of the 17 May at Templeton and I am sure that the Juniors would appreciate any support available.
