Our Simon Cup team recorded their first win in a catch up match against Windsor at Windsor by the margin of 5 games to 3 on Sunday. A great effort well done to Ant Doyle and the team! Simon continues their quest with an away match against Russley scheduled for this Saturday and again we wish them all the best in what will be a close contest.
Blank is down to play Templeton at home on Saturday as they look to bounce back from their loss to Waimairi Beach. Tee off is set down from 12.30 so there may be some prior pressure on tee times so get you names down as soon as possible.
The Steve Ellis lead Metro team continue their odyssey against Coringa away at Coringa this Sunday and the selectorial panel has named a strong combination in what is now a key match. Metro currently sit in second placed ensconced on 9 points with 2 rounds to play - Coringa is at the top with 12; given the draw and and a couple of over due matches it is still possible for Metro to emerge as winners but it all hinges on a winning performance on Sunday!! Go Steve and the boys we will await the match report with eager anticipation!
