It never fails to amaze me, one, how many golfers do not know the rules of golf, or two do not know how & when the rules can be used to your advantage or three do not carry a copy of the rules with them when playing.
For those of you who wish to remedy this deficiency of knowledge or alternatively further develop an understanding of the precepts underlining the game the Referee's Association will be running a "rules course" at the Shirley Clubhouse commencing on Tuesday 13 April and fortnightly thereafter.
The programme consists of discussions, lectures, video's and assignments - for more information please see Struan at the office or are own member Kerry Sullivan from the Referee's Association.
