On Wednesday I attended the AGM of Canterbury Golf and am pleased to report that club member and former Women's Club Captain Glenys Falloon has been elected as President of Canterbury Golf. On behalf of the Club and all its members I wish Glenys all the best for her tenure and I am sure it will be most successful.
As an aside from our Club we have not only Glenys as President and David Page as Chairman of the Board of Canterbury Golf but also Ken Fergus and Liz Douglas serving on the Board of New Zealand Golf!! A pretty good representation I would say however if anyone would like to serve on the Canterbury Golf committee I know they are looking to co-opt some more members so feel free to speak with me if you are interested.
